DOGE and Agency Dismantling¶
Overview¶
DOGE is a familiar public label for the United States DOGE Service and related agency teams established through Executive Order 14158. ARRP separates questions about the authority and safeguards of a cross-agency operational unit from questions about the effects of its actions on particular agencies, appropriations, statutory programs, personnel, records, and information systems.
This page does not evaluate whether a particular efficiency policy is wise. It helps readers find the proposals addressing who may exercise cross-agency control, whether mandatory government functions may be disabled, and what legal safeguards apply.

What ARRP Does and Does Not Address¶
ARRP addresses legal authority, mandatory functions, appropriations, personnel safeguards, privacy, records, and accountable administration. It does not oppose efficiency review, modernization, lawful reorganization, waste reduction, or policy change authorized by Congress merely because DOGE or another presidential unit participates.
